Reggie Watts Video

Reggie Watts Featured on Conan O'Brien's Late Show

I thought it would be appropriate to show the source of my blog tagline:

More of My Work

More of My Work

This was a picture I edited awhile ago for my little sister. When I started it I didn't really have a final outcome in mind. This was the result of messing around with different colors, brushes, and blending modes.

My thoughts on GANGSTER SQUAD

The production value of this movie was great, but not much else. I felt like it was a tug of war between a serious drama and a comedy. The cast was great but the director Ruben Fleischer failed to utilize them! To describe this movie in one word it would be "cheesy". If I didn't have my popcorn and drink I would have walked out. It's a shame because I was really excited for this one.

SOME OF MY RECENT WORK

I did a photo shoot for one of my friends who is trying to kick off his music career under the pseudonym ATMOSTFEAR, his main focus is electronic music... its worth while checking him out on Facebook and Soundcloud. Anyways I took the photos with my Canon 5D Mark II and edited them on Photoshop. Graphic design has always been kind of a hobby for me, my heart is in film. Expect more of my pictures to come from feature and passed projects, I love sharing. Enjoy.

I LOVE CHUCK ANDERSON!

Chuck Anderson is a EXTREMELY talented graphic designer, if you don't already know who he is I defiantly recommend that you look up his work. I aspire to be like him in the sense of making things so F@#K'N AWESOME!!! The link to his website is in my "Links List".

My thoughts on Andy Warhol

Today in our Art and Creativity class we watched a documentary about Andy Warhol's life and art and I wasn't sure what to think of him. Obviously he was a good at something but I am not entirely sure what that something is. Part of me wants to say he was just at the right place at the right time and another part of me wants to say he just knew what "looked cool", regardless he was and still is one of the most well known artists in the world. His shit sold..yes shit, whether it was his films that made next to no sense or his silk screen paintings that he got other people to do for him. It was his whole persona that made him successful. Andy gave great material for the media because he was so outlandish and weird, which in turn boosted his popularity. Andy needed the media and the media needed him. I'd hang one of his painting on my wall..Thatta him.

FIRST POST WHOOP WHOOP!!

My name is Mason William Denysek, I go to Vancouver Film School. I created this blog for an assignment in my Art and Creativity class. Part of the criteria was to name our blog with a single word. We were given a choice to make a word up or use a current one, I thought it would be fun to devise my own. When I came up with "Kajical" I didn't have a meaning in mind, I just thought it sounded/looked cool, and I thought it would go well with the whole colourful theme I got going on with the background I made. I intend for the majority of my posts to be my day-to-day inspirations as well as my creative thought process that I go through when coming up with project ideas. THE END.
